Ladies’ Victorian outfits for hire
Please complete the Hire form when you are planning outfit hire as this gives us all the details needed to see if we can assist and enable us to answer you promptly.
Hire fees are from £30 per week and include either a hoop or a bustle pad, a hat or bonnet and gloves and bag.
We have some simpler outfits from £25 per week. A refundable deposit also applies. Please read our Terms and Conditions.
Delivery to you and return to us is via a carrier service and is from £18 per carton to UK addresses . If you are hiring more than one outfit we will be pleased to quote a bulk delivery price.
What you see on the website is only a small portion of our stock, but here are some examples of our ladies wear for hire: We stock size 10 to size 20 and over.

EVENING GOWNS
We have a selection of evening wear for hire, below is just a selection of what we have available
Gorgeous copper coloured skirt with front swag and elaborate gathering to the back. It can be worn with either brocade evening top or fitted black jacket.
The jacket is a tight fitting military style with asymetric fastenings. The hem is shaped and goes to a point at the rear. For evening wear it can be teamed with this brocade top that has lacing at the back. Jacket and Top fits Bust 36″ and the skirt is 29″-31″ waist and 39″ long.
Hire fee £35 including headdress or hat, bag and gloves
This lovely outfit was created for a production of An Inspector Calls . The top is lavishly decorated with braid, both at the front and back, and has lace at the hem and cuffs.
The skirt has a panel in the same material and trim as the top, whilst the remainder of the skirt is velvet. It has a slight train to the back of it and falls in a lovely way at the rear. Bust 38″, Waist 33″ Length of skirt 40″. Hire Fee £40 includes headdress, bag and gloves
A SELECTION OF OUR DAYWEAR
This ensemble sits over a crinoline of about 13 feet circumference. The jacket is velvet with bobble trim and the skirt is a jacquard material with scalloped edge. The jacket is a loose fitting design suitable for Bust 44/46 and the skirt adjust from 36 to 40 waist. Hire fee includes a matching hat and bag,a pair of gloves and the crinoline. Hire Fee £40
A lovely summer outfit in pale lemon broderie anglaise consisting of jacket with pagoda sleeves and muslin undersleeves, full skirt with hoop underskirt, hat and dolly bag . Parasol and lace gloves included. There is a bonnet in the lemon broderie anglaise if preferred.
Top: Bust 40″ and max.waist 36. Skirt Waist 32 to 46 and length 45″.

OUR POPULAR VELVET JACKET SUITS
There are various other sets in different colours, but all feature covered buttons,and lovely detail to the cuffs which match the skirt. The sets are available in a range of sizes.

A skirt and fitted jacket set comprising of:
Vibrant Kingfisher Blue Very Heavy Tafetta bell skirt. Size 10. The skirt hem is finished off with a braid and scroll work hem line. The skirt is approx 45 inches long and is a floor sweeper!
A skirt and fitted jacket set comprising of:
Vibrant Flame Orange Very Heavy Tafetta bell skirt Size 14. The skirt hem is finished off with a black lace and braid hem line. The skirt is approx 45 inches long .
And finally a set in a lovely blue with separate bustle to rear and gorgeous matching hat. The jacket and hat are trimmed in a blue braid to match the skirt. Size 14
Red Silk 3 Piece Victorian Costume
A wonderful soft silk 2 piece outfit teamed up with a blouse to make a three piece costume.The silk 2 piece is very ornate with sewn decorations of gold braid that create lotus patterns and trellis works also acsented with beads. Sized at a very comfortable 14-16 with a full skirt thats suits a hoop very well.

Victorian School Mistress
A nice black costume consisting of black jacket with slight leg o’mutton sleeves with a black skirt, both in a heavy weight cotton. This comes with a small hoop skirt and bustle pad. Excellent for school days and events in the Victorian theme. This is available in size 10, 12, 14/16. Please note that there may be slight variations in trim. Mary Poppins
The Famous ‘Arrival Outfit’ from the film, “Mary Poppins”, consisting of black genuine Edwardian felt coat with vintage buttons to the front in an A-line flare, A royal blue elasticated top skirt with the familiar 2 white stripes to the front, an elegant collared shirt in pin stripe blue & white, white apron with back ties, little red bow tie, vintage carpet bag & black straw hat with the daisies and cherries. We regret that we no longer have the umbrella featured but an alternative will be supplied.Will fit size 12/16
